Hawaiian Cement Import Facility – Bulk Terminal EPC
Location: Barbers Point - Oahu, Hawaii
The Hawaiian Cement Terminal was designed as a state-of-the-art cement import terminal with initial throughput of 500,000 tpy.
Matrix PDM Engineering provided the economic feasibility study and all of the associated engineering, procurement and construction management services for the facility.
Design included two new storage domes, a pneumatic transport system, unloader, and barge and truck loadout. Additionally, Matrix PDM provided electrical and automation solutions including automating the mechanical reclaimer and ship unloader, barge and truck loadout systems and bill of lading system.
