Program structure
The program is highly customizable, consisting of rotations to different job sites within an 18-22 month time period. It is geared toward your interests and developmental needs as well as those of the business.

At the program’s conclusion, your career within the Company will move to the next phase. You will have accumulated industry knowledge, business acumen, and a hands-on understanding of the different aspects of our business.

Requirements

  • Graduating senior or recent graduate with a BS/BA in Construction Science/Management or Civil/Industrial Engineering with a desire to work in the field
  • Field construction experience
  • Willingness to travel and relocate
  • High level of initiative with a strong desire to develop new skills
  • Documentation of current, good collegiate standing and expected graduation date

Emerging Leaders Program Internship

Are you entering your junior or senior year of college with a major in Construction Management or a related field? Are you looking for an opportunity to explore your career options in the industrial construction industry?

Our Emerging Leaders Program Internship could be the perfect opportunity to gain the real-world project-based skills you need to enter the Construction Management field after graduation. Aside from gaining invaluable experience, interns get a glimpse into a professional career with Matrix Service Company. Outstanding interns who are future leaders in the construction industry may get an invitation to join our Emerging Leaders Program.

 

Requirements

  • College students entering your junior year, senior year or a Master’s Program
  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Science/Management or a related discipline
  • High level of initiative and a strong desire to learn and acquire new skills

 

Other internships

We also offer internships in disciplines outside of Construction Management. Internships are often available in Engineering, Human Resources, Accounting and project work.
