Food Manufacturing

Frozen food, baking and frying, prepared food, milling, coffee and pet food facilities all share the need to comply with food safety standards while maintaining production levels and implementing projects. Matrix PDM understands these issues and makes food safety and sanitary conditions a top priority during every project.

Grain and Milling

30 years of experience has given us in-depth knowledge of the challenges facing the industry from the constant need to increase capacity, the growing requirements for tracking and segregation, to problems related to maintaining aging systems. We use this insight to help our clients identify and implement proven solutions to achieve maximum throughput in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner.

The comprehensive technical capabilities of our multidisciplinary team are unparalleled in the industry. We have all essential disciplines for complete facility design. These specialties include silo design and investigation, marine structure and dock design, conveying system design, controls and automation, loading and unloading equipment and construction management. Whether you are repairing, expanding or modifying part of an existing facility or conceptualizing and constructing a greenfield facility, River Consulting offers the expertise and experience to handle all project phases. Our flexible approach permits us to deliver these services as a Prime Consultant, Owner’s Engineer, or as an engineering partner for Design-Build Delivery.

Having worked in nearly every operating grain export facility in the U.S., along with many inland facilities, our staff has designed dozens of major export facilities and participated in hundreds of successful projects over the past 30 years. We continue our commitment to the grain industry by sitting on the board of the Grain Elevator and Processing Society and serving on the American Concrete Institute 313 Committee– setting design standards for re-enforced concrete slipform structures.

The grain industry relies on Matrix PDM to leverage our experience and deliver solutions for its most challenging projects.
